Jill, Andre and Autumn Rose

I love this couple and now their sweet bundle of joy, little Autumn Rose, completes them. They are awesome parents and little Autumn is certainly the center of their attention, and rightly so!
I was anxious for this session and happy to visit their home and photograph them all together. And of course, happy to get my baby fix. My 11 year old daughter who accompanied me on this session looks far too grown up now and amazing she was once as small as Autumn!
This little peanut was such a delight for me to photograph. At five months old she was so very patient and overall just so happy!
I am sure I will have more photo opportunities with her which I am very excited to do!
Thank you Andre and Jill for allowing me to create these images for you!

Meet Krysta and Ryan

After a few emails back and forth to set up their engagement session, I was finally able to meet these two love birds. And yes, they are so in love. Ryan just adores Krysta and you can clearly see it in these pictures. His adoring looks towards her were incredibly sweet! They were so cute together and I loved being their photographer for a short while that day to create images for them.
Their wedding is coming up soon! They have a wedding planned for the Bahamas. Oh how beautiful that will be. And I so wish they were taking me along to be their photographer!
I wish them the best as they will soon begin their life together as husband and wife.
Congratulations to you Ryan and Krysta!!

First Glimpse....The M Family

First Glimpse. The M Family.
We had a cold, cold morning for this session. But I adore this couple and their sweet new baby boy so the cool air really didn't matter.

First Glimpse...Tyler and Amy

First Glimpse. Tyler and Amy.
The rain moved on from the day earlier. The skies cleared. And an outdoor wedding took place. Absolutely beautiful. Absolutely perfect couple.

First Glimpse....Joe and Christine

First Glimpse. Joe and Christine.
I remember during their wedding ceremony the priest speaking, "Without love, you have nothing." No truer words spoken.
And the smiles shared between these two show nothing but love.

A Look Back at 2010

When I look back through these pictures, I smile and feel a sense of complete happiness at what I have accomplished in such a short time. When I set out to take my photography passion to the next level and create my own business in September I really didn't know what to expect. However once I launched my website, this blog, and a Facebook page emails began to arrive. Phone calls started. And soon, I was booking photo sessions. I was beyond thrilled. Giddy in fact. My dreams were becoming real. My love for photography took on a greater meaning for me.

And I have loved each and every photo session I did. Meeting with family and interacting with kids. Making them smile and laugh. Seeing beautiful family moments captured with my camera.

With 2011 upon my doorstep, I foresee even more photo opportunities. I am inspired. I have many plans and ideas. I am already booking photo sessions for 2011!

Thank you to all of my clients from this past year! Thank you for sharing your lives with me and my camera. For allowing me to create pictures you will love and treasure forever!

Happy New Year to everyone! Best wishes for an even greater year ahead! Hello 2011!

I Heart Faces Workshop...the photoshoot!

I am down in Dallas, Texas right now for a photography workshop put on by I Heart Faces and let's just say I am loving my time here. The workshop I attended yesterday began at 8:30 a.m. and went all day to 7 p.m. It was a fantastic day. I met so many talented photographers filled with the same passion as me. It was so fun, fun, fun and more fun. So many topics were covered. Everything from using natural light, off camera flash, editing pictures, camera products, yummy food along with a massage! Yes a massage! We were all pampered and spoiled yesterday.
Especially spoiled when we were all treated to adorable kids and a gorgeous couple for a photoshoot. I cannot begin to tell you how wonderful this opportunity was to take pictures along side professional photographers and learning their secrets, watching them interact with the models and having them help me with my photoshoot experience. I gained so much experience yesterday. I left there last night truly inspired and filled with so many ideas for my own photography business.
I also left there with some beautiful pictures!
Here a few below. Enjoy!
